eMason originates different ideas that can be implemented.
While we always strive to make it a reality, some concepts are powerful and
should explained thoroughly. The concepts here are a mix of original and
an amalgam of other concepts throughout the web.
Banner Affiliate Model - BAM (original, Jan 1999) BAM is a cheap & easy way to create an affiliate program for your site that pays your affiliates in banners (instead of cash). Implementation is as simple as placing a small Javascript script on your pages. This is a way for you to compensate sites that link to your site without the headache of tracking, eliminating cheating and the expense of a cash based affiliate program. (nb. this is NOT a banner exchange system) more eMason - Surviving a Microsoft vs Open Source battle (original, Sep 2000, not implemented) A solution to becoming a billion dollar entity while embracing both open-source and profit-driven company principles. Flexibility in the plan allows approaching a funding pool that included Microsoft as well as Oracle, etc. Comments circa 2004 included in brackets [] from a wiser age. more eMason - Fighting Google: How do you win if you are Microsoft? (original, May 2007, conceptual) Microsoft today is in disarray having grown fat from spoils of the past while stumbling heavily in its net related businesses. It has no choice, the front leader of the net, Google and msft's old nemesis of Open Sourcing is catching up and is draining Microsoft of talent. Its soul. How can Microsoft stay relevant? How can it prosper? Easiest answer: slash and burn. more In progress (working items) |
